 Call to reserve your space @ 541-899-1047.  $35 dollars a class unless specified otherwise.  All Classes start at 5pm and run approximately 1 ½ - 2 hours long.

Sunday July 24, 2016 5:00 p.m. Dinner from the Farmer’s Market This is truly a Farm to Fork experience! Join me at the Farmer’s market at 9:00 a.m. and we’ll choose from our local growers a three course meal. You’ll learn what to look for in choosing produce. Then come back to the store at 5:00 p.m. and we’ll make our dinner from our morning selections.

Sunday August 7, 2016 5:00 p.m. Sushi Rolls   In this class we will learn the proper technique for making sushi rice and how to properly roll maki. We’ll be making California Rolls and Inside Out California Rolls, Cucumber Rolls and Unagi and Avocado rolls. There is some hands on in this class. Sign up soon, this class will sell out quickly!

Sunday September 18, 2016 5:00 p.m. Pasta by Hand   In this class you will learn how to make Ravioli, Tortollini and Handkerchief pasta. There is some hands on in this class.

NEWSFLASH! The Jacksonville Mercantile will be closing its doors, in Jacksonville, on or before 9/30/16. HOWEVER, the really good news is that we will seamlessly be continuing our culinary adventure, newly named as “The Culinarium” to be located at 270 E. Main Street in Ashland, Oregon. Expect to see all the usuals, including JM Balsamics and oils, an enlarged selection of global delights, as well as cutting edge and classic kitchenware. And that’s just for starters! Can you say cooking classes and demo kitchen? We are Soooo excited and look forward to sharing more exciting deliciousness with our food loving friends!

Cancellation Policy:   Because food must be purchased and class instruction prepared in advance, class fees for cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to class are not refundable. With more than 48-hour notice of a cancellation, credit may be applied to a future class or fees can be refunded. "No shows" will not receive a refund or credit. If enrollment for a class is insufficient, Jacksonville Mercantile reserves the right to cancel the class and will notify registered students of the cancellation. In the event of a cancelled class, students may choose to take another class on our current schedule or be fully refunded.  Reminder Notifications will not always be sent, please be sure to mark your calendars if you have signed up.
