Sundried Figs in Rum and Chestnut Honey
These sundried figs in rum and chestnut honey are by far the most decadent thing we carry at the Jacksonville Mercantile. These are small white calabrian figs, dried in the sun, soaked in a rum, then put into a smokey chestnut honey. We love these over a triple creme brie or one of the Rogue Valley Creamery Blue cheeses. This also pairs nicely with duck confit or any pate. A big spoon also works. This is one of those treats that you will always want on hand for any and all occasions.
